Economic Development Committee


The Elk Township Economic Development Committee's Mission Statement is to guide economic growth and development initiatives which:

 

• improve upon existing business and economic conditions within the Township
• attract desirable businesses/ quality ratables to the Township
• maximize the financial benefit to the Township
• are consistent with the Township's budgetary and operational framework
• preserve the rural character of the Township
 
The Committee meets the first Monday of each month at the Elk Township Municipal Building at 7:30 PM.  The meeting is open to the public.

Economic Development Brochure


The Elk Township Economic Development and Township Committees completed their first brochure designed for helping to market the township to the business community.   Printed copies will be used in conjunction with county initiatives to help draw attention to the business opportunities available in the township.
