The Elk Township Economic Development Committee's Mission Statement is to guide economic growth and development initiatives which: 

• improve upon existing business and economic conditions within the Township
• attract desirable businesses/ quality ratables to the Township
• maximize the financial benefit to the Township
• are consistent with the Township's budgetary and operational framework
• preserve the rural character of the Township

 
The Committee will be meeting the first Monday of each month at the Elk Township Municipal Building.  PLEASE note - the meetings will start at 7:30 PM.  The meeting is open to the public.  Below are the meeting dates for 2010.

Please note:  The Elk Township Economic Development and Township Committees have completed their first brochure designed for helping to market the township to the business community.  Click here to open a copy of the brochure.  Printed copies will be used in conjunction with county initiatives to help draw attention to the business opportunities available in the township.
