The purpose of the township watch is to protect neighbors throughout the communities from criminal mischief by acting as the "eyes and ears" for the Elk Township police force.

The Watch currently is in need of new members.  The ten regular members operate patrols on weekends and at times and areas designated by the police.  By establishing a network for concerned citizens to communicate with other neighbors and the Elk Township Police Department regarding crime related problems, we can assure the security of our residential life continues.

The Community Watch meets in the courtroom of the Elk Township Municipal Building, which is located at 667 Whig Lane Road, from 7:30 PM until 8:30 PM (Please note the start time for the May thru August meetings will be 7:00 PM) on the third Thursday of each month.  If additional information is needed, please call the Township building at (856) 881 - 6525 or the Patrol Officer, Mr. Robert Tate at (856) 881 - 4046.
